Meet Tiffany Snow, Founder/Owner

Meet Tiffany Snow, Founder/Owner

Tiffany Snow is a Teacher of the Deaf and certified Early Intervention Developmental Specialist in Massachusetts.

She attended the University of Central Florida and earned a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education and went on to earn a Master’s degree from Gallaudet University in Family Centered Early Education. For the past 20 years she has worked in various schools for the Deaf both in Maine and Massachusetts, teaching Parent Infant Toddler and Preschool classes. Most of her recent experience with deaf and hard of hearing children and families has been in the field of Early Intervention where she gained experience with children with a wide range of hearing levels, additional special needs, syndromes, and variety of other complex needs.

She supports families learning about their child’s hearing level, use of assistive technology, development of communication and language, connecting with the Deaf community and culture, monitoring and achieving appropriate developmental milestones, and how to navigate additional supports and resources. She is passionate about family education and supports the causes working on eliminating language deprivation in deaf and hard of hearing children.

This webinar covers the basics of understanding ear anatomy, how to read an audiogram, light introduction to hearing technology, and access to language. Who should take this webinar? Families with children who are deaf or hard of hearing, Early Intervention providers who work with or have interest in working with deaf or hard of hearing children, and teachers preparing to welcome a preschool student into a classroom to gain understanding of a child’s hearing levels.
